The Pre-Adolescent workshop conducted by Dr Rimjhim Ray and Mrs Shabnam Rahman was very much topic oriented. It was an interactive session where I have gained a lot of information about parenting. Not only from the speakers , I have learnt a lot from other participants also. Many quarries and doubts have been cleared after this session. I came to Crystal Clinic almost 6 years ago for my only son Ridha observing some behavioural disorder as well as lack of attention at that time he was only 3 ½ years old .My child specialist had suggested me to consult a Psychiatrist regarding this matter. I had read articles written by Dr Rima Mukherji Published in various newspapers which impressed me a lot, so I booked an appointment with Dr. Rima Mukherji. After some clinical investigations it revealed that my son is suffering from acute ADHD with some features of ASD and also having some learning disabilities At first I was very shocked as I hadn’t faced this type of situation and didn’t know how to overcome it. Dr. Mukherji consoled me and told me that it is important to allow myself to control my feelings whatever it may be. As per her advice I met Dr. Bidita Bhattacharya to counsel my son. Bidita Madam referred me to Mahua Madam (Special Educator) which was a turning point in my kid’s life. Mahua Madam and Sweta Madam helped me a lot to overcome the problem. They educated my son regarding proper social behaviour as well as some academic knowledge also. My Son is now 10 years old and we are very much attached with Crystal Clinic. Whenever I feel difficulties regarding my son I consult With Crystal and they have always helped me overcome the problem. Here I also met some parents of special children which were my lifeline during this difficult time. Most importantly the assistance of Crystal Mind’s has shown me the light at the end of the tunnel. You can connect with her very comfortably and share any emotional, mental or relationship issues. Helped me a lot to construct myself as a stronger me.
